A Stroud man will appear in court again today on drug and theft offences.

Jack Geary, aged 36 and of Streamside, is charged with possession and intent to supply crack cocaine on March 20 2018.

He is also charged with possession of Valium on the same day and supplying heroin from March 1-21 last year.

Geary is also accused of dishonestly receiving a stolen Ford Fiesta.

In April he appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court and admitted stealing bottles of fake tan on three occasions on February 14 this year.

In total he stole 10 bottles, two from Superdrug and eight from Boots in Stroud High Street, at a total cost of £290.

Two days earlier, on February 12, Geary stole meat to the value of £29.96 from Aldi.

He also entered a guilty plea to a charge of using threatening behaviour on Langtoft Road, Stroud, on August 12 last year. He had previously pleaded not guilty to this offence.

Geary also pleaded guilty to resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty and indicated guilty pleas for possessing cocaine and the opioid Subutex, also on August 12.
