STROUD’S own jazz festival returns for the fourth year this week.
Jazz Stroud incorporates four days of live jazz influenced music, embracing traditional, world, improvised electronic, fusion, experimental, funk, hip-hop and beyond.
Running from Thursday to Sunday, the festival includes free daytime events, evening concerts, late night live sessions and club nights, with over 60 live acts and DJs set to perform.
Headliners are: Steamdown (Jazz FM Awards 2019 winners), Emma-Jean Thackray (Jazz FM Awards 2019 Nominee Breakthrough Act of the Year), Alabaster dePlume, Leafcutter John, Ishmael Ensemble (Contemporary album of the month, The Guardian), Vels Trio, The Breath and Allysha Joy.
