Firefighters rescued a cat stuck in a loft in Yate yesterday.
They were called shortly after 6pm to an house in Shackleton Avenue.
Firefighters had to remove brickwork to reach the cat, called Milly, who was trapped in the roof void of the loft.
A spokeswoman for Avon Fire and Rescue Service said: "One crew from Yate fire station attended and used small tools and a ladder to access the space and rescue the cat, before returning it to its owner."
