The Stroud district followed the national trend in backing the Brexit Party while there was also huge support for the Greens in Thursday's European elections.
Nigel Farage's Brexit Party won three seats in the south west, thanks in part to more than 12,500 votes from Stroud district residents.
Former Conservative MP Ann Widdecombe was elected alongside fellow Brexit Party candidates James Glancy and Christina Jordan.
The Stroud District also voted over 12,000 times for the Green Party, helping re-elect Molly Scott Cato in the process.
Liberal Democrat candidates Caroline Voaden and Martin Horwood took the other two seats in the south west. The party received just over 9,000 votes in the Stroud district.
The Conservatives and Labour lost more than 11,000 votes between them in the Stroud district alone, as voters followed the national trend in shunning the 'main' parties.
The story was similar in South Gloucestershire, with the Brexit Party winning the most votes but the Lib Dems and Green Party also getting large support.
