A serial thief has been jailed after stealing purses and handbags in Stroud.
Lorna Creary, 54, of no fixed abode, was given a 36-week sentence at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on May 27.
She stole from three different people in the space of a week, all in Stroud. This included a purse containing £110, a handbag containing items worth £150 and a purse worth £16.
Creary was ordered to pay total compensation of £308.09.
