A serial offender has been jailed for 12 weeks for driving under the influence of ketamine.

Michael Harney, 65, of Bisley Old Road, Stroud, was found with 384 pg/L of the drug in his blood when stopped in Nouncells Cross Road Car Park on December 21 last year.

The legal limit is 20 pg/L, with lower amounts deemed 'accidental exposure'.

He pleaded guilty to all charges at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on June 13.

Harney was banned from driving for five years and ordered to pay costs of £200.
