A lorry fire on the M5 has now been extinguished.
Two lanes were earlier closed on the M5 southbound between junctions 17 and 18.
Fire crews from Avonmouth and Southmead stations attended the scene.
Two firefighters in breathing apparatus used two high-pressure hose reels and 25 litres of foam to extinguish the fire. They also used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
The cause of the fire is thought be accidental.
All lanes are now open again.
