Sroud's new festival for children launched yesterday.
The first day of Playground Festival was held in Bank Gardens.
It featured a variety of activities, workshops and other entertainment including live music and performances at St Laurence Church.
The fun continues today at the Goods Shed with a car boot sale and a huge city scape of teddy bear dens.
In the afternoon there will be two brand new DiscoNature shows. DiscoNature is a natural science inspired performing art event created by musician Josef Reeve and Kaoru Blackstone of Stroud-based natural science and art group, the Wild Things. They will be leading an exploration into animal behaviour through music, games, dance and comedy.
