Among the entertainment at this weekend's Stroud Show was the return of the brick throwing competition.
The traditional event returned after a gap of nearly 20 years alongside the rolling pin throwing contest.
James Peart's throw of 129 feet 5inches won the competition while Penny Newton was named top woman with a throw of 53 feet 9 inches.
The best rolling pin throw was 116 feet 3 inches by Wendy Thomson.
Stroud MP David Drew was among those glad to see the competition back in Stroud “I was particularly pleased to see the return of Stroud’s unique international event, the brick and rolling pin throwing contest, it’s part of what makes Stroud special," he said.
