Former Cheltenham Town midfielder Tyreece Briscoe heads up a four man list of trialist Cirencester Town manager Charlie Griffin is currently looking at.
The midfielder featured during Saturday’s 4-0 defeat to National League South side Chippenham Town alongside Jack Spark, goalkeeper Liam Kingston and Dan Williamson.
Briscoe, 18, was released by Cheltenham in the summer.
He is a holding midfielder who has also had a loan spell at Hellenic Premier Division side Tuffley Rovers last season.
Spark is a defender who spent the end of last season on loan at Gloucester City, Kingston is a goalkeeper who is currently at Weston-super-Mare while Williamson plays at right-back and is from Swindon Supermarine.
Griffin was satisfied with the performance against Chippenham despite the 4-0 defeat but was pleased to get a reaction after they lost 7-2 in their last match.
“It was a lot better,” he said.
“The game wasn’t a 4-0 scoreline. “We needed a reaction from the Bassett game and we got it.”
