FIREFIGHTERS helped release a crash victim from a car on a Herefordshire road.
The car had careered off the A44 at Bainstree Cross, Monkland, and an occupant was trapped inside.
The casualty was treated by medics from West Midlands Ambulance Service, but his or her condition is not known.
An air ambulance helicopter was at the scene, but in the event it was not required.
Firefighters from Kingsland and Leominster were involved in the operation earlier today (Sunday).
