Cheltenham-based artist Nettie Edwards produces vintage photographs using natural plant forms in what is known as anthotype photography.
She is coming to Stroud's Hawkwood College to take up residency for five days from August 26-30.
During this time, Nettie will be holding a free and informal talk which will explore the historic photographic processes and digital technology she uses to create her stunning photographic prints.
"These evenings are an opportunity for the local community to be part of this creative process and for the artists to have a platform to share their newly created work in an informal environment," says spokeswoman Priscila Pabon.
The free event will take place on Thursday, August 29 (7.30-9pm).
