Malmesbury School are celebrating another fantastic results day.

61 percent of all grades achieved by students at the school were grades between A* and B, with 32 percent of students achieving grades between A* and A.

Malmesbury School executive Headteacher Tim Gilson said “ We are thrilled with this year’s A-Level results; this is the first year when all the exams have been based on final exams without AS results in Year 12 and on the new more challenging content.

"Our students dealt with the challenges extremely well and demonstrated a positive work ethic.

"All the Malmesbury School staff work incredibly hard to provide superb pastoral support and inspiring teaching for our students and their skill and experience means that our students make excellent progress.

"A remarkable 16 percent of our students achieved a clean sweep of A*/ A grades and many more exceeded their predictions.

"We are very proud of all our students who are now looking forward to going to a wide range of excellent universities and employers and we wish them all the very best for the future.”
