Students and staff at Westonbirt School are celebrating an outstanding year of A-level results.
In addition to its significant success with BTECs, Westonbirt announced this morning that its students achieved a 100 percent pass rate of A*-B in 50 percent of their subjects on offer.
In three of these subjects, Westonbirt students received an exceptional 100 percent pass rate of A*-A.
The school is also celebrating its outstanding performance in Maths, with 75 percent of its class of 2019 scoring an A in this subject.
Westonbirt head, Mrs Natasha Dangerfield says she is very proud of the students’ achievements.
She said: “We take a unique approach of creating personalised learning experiences that are well aligned with the strengths and aspirations of each student and I am delighted that our students and parents describe us as a greenhouse rather than a hothouse.
"It is very important to create an inspiring, motivating and caring learning environment for students and our dedication to their wellbeing and happiness shows in these great exam results."
Just under 250 students attend the senior school.
