MARLING School’s sixth form students celebrated a brilliant set of A level results today.

Most students have gone on to secure places at their first choice universities.

Dr Stuart Wilson, headteacher, said: "This is an exceptional set of results that reflects the determination and endeavour shown by our students and represents superb value added.

"They worked really hard throughout the two-year course and I am delighted for them and for our staff who supported them so well, both academically and pastorally.

"This was the first group to sit a full set of new and reformed linear A levels and they have fully risen to the challenge. On behalf of the governors and staff I would like to congratulate all of our students on their results and wish them the very best as they go on to the next step in their journey."
