COTSWOLD baker Aggy Dadan created a cake for Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa’s 40th birthday.

Momoa, who plays Khal Drogo in the hit show celebrated his birthday on August 1.

Dadan, from ‘Edible by Aggy’ had been planning the cake with Jason’s closest friend’s for a week before a surprise party was held in London earlier this month.

Aggy revealed how she constructed the cake.

She said: “The idea was based around all of his favourite things close to his heart.

“The design was a mountain of Guinness and Whiskey cake carved into a majestic wave on one side and a rock face the other.

“Each side had it’s very own mini Momoa model sculpted out of white chocolate and carefully hand painted.

“Dotted around the cake were a selection of pink donuts to represent his best friend and personal trainer Mada and tiny but perfect Guinness cans.

“At the top of the mountain was a wolf and bear cub to represent his children and the Moon for his wife, Lisa, rising over the beautiful Hawaiian mountains.”

The cake weighed in close to 80kgs but was carried out by friend Mada as the entire party sang happy birthday.

A star studded affair, guests included Emilia Clarke, Ian Somerhalder and Joe Flanigan.

The biggest guest was none other than Eddie Hall, who won the World’s Strongest Man competition in 2017.

Eddie took it upon himself to carry to create a new exercise, the ‘Cake Curls’, holding the 80kg cake he easily curled the cake taking a bite out after each rep while being cheered along.

The cake was then cut into pieces and enjoyed by the entire party until the early hours. Jason was said to be thrilled with the cake and said: “It’s beautiful, the best cake I ever had.”

Dadan said: “The whole evening was just incredible, everyone loved the cake and we managed to keep it all secret. I loved making the cake. All the guests enjoyed the Guinness and whisky cake, with most coming back for a few pieces and it really was the centre piece to an amazing gathering.

“Happy birthday Jason!”
