ONLY head for Gloucester Royal's A&E department today 'if your condition is serious or life threatening', health bosses have said.
The accident and emergency department at GRH in Gloucester is particularly busy today, and the service is expected to become even more stretched this afternoon and later on this evening.
In a tweet, Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said: "Our A&E department at GRH is really busy and will get busier this afternoon/evening.
"Please only attend if condition is serious/life threatening.
"Other services available where you are often seen in more timely way and parking available."
The trust is advising people to check online at: www.asapglos.nhs.uk/ for details on how and where to get non-emergency health advice.
