THIEVES have stolen a trailer that was being used for a family business.

The vehicle had been converted from a horsebox used as a portable bar to provide drinks for events.

It is a dark coloured Volvo XC70 with a personalised number plate.

The trailer was taken on Sunday at around 10.45pm at Stroudwater Business Park in Stonehouse.

It has been described as very distinctive with a bright yellow front and roof with green back and sides.

Posting on Facebook, family member Chloe Sarrington said: "This is our family business and converting the trailer was a real labour of love, we're totally devastated.

"This bar is worth more to us than just the money we invested in it. It's a project in which a great deal of time and care has been invested.

"We'd be so grateful if you might keep an eye out and share this with your family and friends."

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police said: "It was reported that a horsebox trailer was stolen from Stroudwater Business Park in Stonehouse on Sunday evening (September 22).
