NEW images have been released of two men who police believe could be linked to the theft of a family business in Stonehouse.

The Sarrington family had their trailer stolen on Sunday September 22 at around 10.45pm at Stroudwater Business Park.

The vehicle had been converted from a horsebox used as a portable bar to provide drinks for events.

It is a very distinctive trailer with a bright yellow front and roof with green back and sides as seen in one of the photos above.

Now images captured from CCTV footage of an attempted break-in in Fairford earlier this month could be linked to the theft.

The picture of the two men also seems to show a dark red Jeep Grand Cherokee in the background.

Footage of the Sarrington's trailer being stolen was also caught on CCTV, with the thieves using what looks like a very similar vehicle to the one caught in the footage from the Fairford incident.

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire police said: “Officers are keeping an open mind as to whether the men pictured in the CCTV image from the incident in Fairford may have been involved in the Stonehouse horsebox trailer theft from the evening of Sunday September 22.

"Anyone with information that may help our investigation is asked to call 101 quoting incident 119 of 23 September.”
