BRADLEY Cherrett struck a dramatic last-gasp winner for Christchurch in a five-goal thriller with Portland United in Wessex Premier.

Priory took an early lead through Kyle Graham and despite a Crit Clarke equaliser, the hosts were back in front at Hurn Bridge by half-time with Josh Kirkham on target.

The game stayed at 2-1 right up until second-half stoppage time, where Portland looked to have grabbed a point through Maxwell Buckler.

However, there was still time for Christchurch to bag a winner, sealing it 3-2 in the fourth minute of added time thanks to Cherrett.

Elsewhere, Hamworthy United suffered their third straight defeat, going down 3-1 at Bashley.

Cameron Beard cancelled out Harry McGrath's opener, but Harry Bunce puts the home side back ahead on 32 minutes.

And the win was secured late on through McGrath again, taking his season's goals tally to eight.

Brockenhurst battled back from 2-0 down to defeat Lymington Town 3-2 in an entertaining contest at Grigg Lane.

In-form Lymo, unbeaten in eight games in all competitions, led 2-0 shortly after half-time thanks to Micky Finch's brace.

But three second-half minutes swung the contest. Freddie Bullard pulled a goal back for Brock before Jake King was sent to the sin bin. And the hosts made the extra man count with Bullard quickly netting again to level the contest.

Will Tickle then completed the comeback with his second goal in as many games.

Struggling Poppies are down to 18th after a 3-1 loss at Shaftesbury.

Tyrone Carkeet levelled the game just past the half-hour mark, before goals early and late in the second period secured the points.
