Crystal Fountain Retirement Village at Inchbrook
Police have confirmed that the death of an 88-year-old woman was not suspicious.
The body of an 88-year-old woman was found in a pond in a retirement village near Stroud on Friday.
Emergency services attended the incident at Crystal Fountain Retirement Village in Inchbrook on the morning following a call at 11am.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire police said:"We received a report this morning that the body of an 88-year-old woman has been found in a pond in Inchbrook.
"Officers attended the location and the next of kin have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
