A care home in Northleach under new ownership has been refurbished, modernised and redecorated.

Since acquiring Northleach Court care home in February 2019, Geoff and Zo Butcher have been working hard alongside daughter Hannah and son Michael.

So far, the team has transformed many of the bedrooms, updating the decor and furnishings.

One of the communal living rooms has had an overhaul with new decor, carpet and light fixings as well as the installation of new armchairs.

The enclosed courtyard garden has also been transformed to allow residents to participate in recreational gardening.

Geoff Butcher, the owner, explains: "As a family-run business, it is incredibly important to us that we keep any disruption to the very minimum whilst we work on renovating the home, and that Northleach Court remains a safe, familiar and comfortable environment for our residents.

"We are all thrilled with the results so far and are looking forward to refurbishing the rest of the rooms.

"The home welcomes visitors, so if you or a family member want to see more of what we’ve done then please come and visit."

This is the first phase of a much larger refurbishment due to start in early 2020 which will add more lounges and dining areas, a café area and take the total number of bedrooms to 45, each with en-suite wet room.
