The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway’s popular Cotswold Food and Drink Fayre takes place this weekend.

Taking place at Toddington and Winchcombe train stations, the event boasts more stands than ever with more than 50 artisan food and drink exhibitors.

John Mayell, volunteer organiser of the event commented: “The huge popularity of our Food & Drink Fayre means that it’s building up to be an even bigger event this year.

"It means that while there will be around 40 exhibitors at Toddington, there will also be more than a dozen at Winchcombe station as well.

“The aim is to keep this as a local food and drink showcase so most of the exhibitors are producers or growers from Gloucestershire and surrounding counties.

"It's a cornucopia of the many wonderful food and drink products that are produced nearby."

Local producers' wares on show and available to try include cheeses and chutneys, honey and jams, chocolates and confectionery, puddings, pies and cakes as well as bacon and sausages, Scotch eggs and more.

There will also be ciders, perries and spirits.
