A SCHOOL choir has won plaudits for their performance at a charity concert in Thornbury.
Castle School Lads’ choir received a standing ovation from the audience and congratulations from their fellow singers during Saturday night’s concert.
They performed alongside Bath Male Choir and Thornbury Good Afternoon Choir to raise money for Great Western Air Ambulance and Phase.
Director of the choirs Ben England said: “It has been an absolute privilege working with these Castle School singers over the past couple of years.
“They are a fab bunch of young men with huge musical talent. Castle School should be really proud of its thriving music department.”
