Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash which took place in Cranham on Monday afternoon.

The incident left a person requiring medical treatment.

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire police said: "Police were called to the A46 in Cranham shortly before 4pm following reports of a two vehicle collision near to Prinknash Abbey.

"This involved a red Ford and a blue Daihatsu and saw one of the occupants receive medical treatment for their injuries.

"The road was closed whilst the vehicles were moved to the side of the road before being reopened shortly after.

"Anyone who was driving in the area at the time and has dashcam footage is asked to call 101 quoting incident 282 of October 14."
