Film crews have descended on Stroud town centre today to shoot series two of the David Mitchell comedy, Back.

Filming is currently taking place on Union Street with security dotted around the town centre.

David Mitchell was also spotted on the high street this morning.

Trailers and vans from the production are also parked at the back of the Cheapside car park behind Stroud train station.

The first series of the Channel 4 sitcom was also filmed in Stroud, and featured Mitchell's Peep Show co-star Robert Webb.

The SNJ were told yesterday that the filming was for a television advert, but have been informed today that it is in fact for the channel 4 programme.
