A STROUD man who had denied having sex with an under-aged girl has today dramatically changed his plea to guilty on the second day of his trial.
Jurors were sworn in at Gloucester Crown Court yesterday to try Martin McNair-Templeton, 23, of Paganhill, on a charge of having sexual activity with a child under 13, including sexual intercourse, on March 3, 2017.
He pleaded not guilty to the offence but today, having heard the girl give evidence against him, he admitted his guilt.
McNair-Templeton was told he will be sentenced on November 19 and he was released on conditional bail until then.
