An air ambulance was called to a serious crash on the M5 near Stroud this morning.
Just before 7am, there was a collision on the M5 northbound between Michaelwood services and J13.
A car collided with the back of the lorry and came to rest against the central reservation.
There were delays of up to eight miles, with traffic held to allow for the air ambulance to land.
All lanes have now re-opened and delays have cleared.
