Gloucestershire County Council have hit out at a cyclist who has damaged a section of resurfacing works.
A section of resurfacing work on the Nailsworth to South Woodchester pathway has been damaged.
The county council say the protective fencing was pulled down before a cyclist travelled along the surface.
A picture posted on the GlosCC Twitter page shows tyre marks on the surface left behind by the cyclist.
A spokesman for GCC added: "Please avoid using the path if it is closed and find an alternative route."
