A Nailsworth pedestrian has been named as the man who died following a collision with a van near Gloucester earlier this month.
Christopher Whitelock-Pogson, 23, of Stroud Road, Nailsworth, was involved in a collision with a van on the A4173 at Whaddon on November 3.
Mr Whitelock-Pogson died six days later, on Nov 9, at Southmead Hospital, Bristol.
An inquest was opened yesterday into his death and Gloucester coroner's court was told he had suffered serious head injuries.
Adjourning the inquest until Feb 13 next year, the assistant coroner for the county, Roland Wooderson, said Mr Whitelock-Pogson had suffered traumatic brain injuries.
