The FA will not be investigating Forest Green head coach Mark Cooper following claims made by Leyton Orient interim manager Ross Embleton on Saturday.
Embleton stated Cooper called him an “imposter” during a touchline row and also said to him: “Who do you think you are, Justin Edinburgh?”
Embleton was sent to the stands during the alleged spat in a game promotion-chasing Forest Green won 4-2.
In a statement released to the Stroud News and Journal, Cooper, said: “I’m pleased the FA have given such a swift and clear statement on this matter.
“I can assure everybody that nothing like that was said – it’s wrong that Justin’s name was dragged into this. We’re now focused on a really important game against Crewe Alexandra.”
