A SEVERE weather emergency protocol (SWEP) has been activated in Stroud as heavy rainfall is expected in the area.
The emergency procedure was called into action by Stroud District Council yesterday due to the forecasts for heavy rain tonight and tomorrow.
Activating the severe weather emergency protocol means Stroud District Council and its partners will be endeavouring to provide rough sleepers with a warm bed for the night.
If you think someone may be rough sleeping, you can let the council know via StreetLink, an organisation which aims to connect rough sleepers to local services.
Visit: streetlink.org.uk, download the StreetLink app, or call 0300 500 0914.
