A SCHOOL in Stonehouse has been ranked as one of the top independent preparatory schools in the south west in The Sunday Times Schools Guide 2020.
Hopelands Preparatory School has been placed at no. 27 in the newspaper’s Parent Power ‘Top Independent Preparatory School’ league tables.
This is an increase of 20 places from last year’s tables where the school was positioned 47th.
Parent Power league tables identify the 2,000 highest-achieving schools in the UK, ranked by their recent examination results.
Their table of ‘Top Independent Preparatory Schools’ positions Hopelands as the highest independent preparatory school in Gloucestershire.
These tables are based on the 2018 SATs results.
"This result, alongside the fact that we celebrated an 89% pass rate for September 2019 admissions into Gloucestershire Grammar School, is a fantastic achievement," said head teacher Sheila Bradburn.
"Together with our dedicated staff, supportive families and wonderful children I am very proud of the inclusive learning environment we have here at Hopelands."
