A DISHONEST receptionist who stole thousands of pounds from a Malmesbury pub has been given a community order.
Lisa Wilcox, 27, of Gastons Road, Malmesbury, avoided jail after she was found guilty of fraud at Swindon Magistrates Court on November 20.
The court heard that between May 13, 2018, and May 5, 2019, whilst working as head receptionist at The Kings Arms on the High Street, Wilcox stole £6,213.32.
She was ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £5,066.32.
