ITEMS including a mobile phone and a purse with bank cards in were stolen from a property in Summer Street on Saturday evening.
Police were called to the street in Stroud last weekend after thieves had gained entry to the property.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire police said: "Officers are appealing for witnesses to a burglary which took place in Stroud last weekend.
"Police were called to Summer Street on Saturday November 23 where it was reported that offenders had gained entry to a property.
"This is believed to have taken place at some point between 7.30pm and 10.45pm and saw offenders steal a handbag and its contents along with a Samsung mobile phone.
"Descriptions of the stolen items are as follows: A black Samsung A3 phone in a white, pink and beige floral patterned case, a plain black leather handbag which has a small handle and longer shoulder strap, a plain black leather purse and a number of bank cards that were inside, an umbrella and empty shopping bag.
"Anyone who was in the area at the time or has information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 491 of November 23."
