The Hollie Gazzard Trust has been instrumental in spreading the message on domestic violence during the national 16 Days of Action campaign.

16 Days of Action Against Domestic Violence is aimed at businesses to support them to take action against domestic abuse and violence, spanning across 16 days from November 25 to December 10.

Nick Gazzard, who lost his daughter five years ago to an abuser began the campaign with a talk at Cirencester College for first year and second year criminology and psychology students.

He will be visiting many other schools in Gloucestershire sharing Hollie’s story.

Nick Gazzard said: “We want to train companies, organisations and even friends and family of those suffering from abuse to recognise the signs.

"It could be changes in behaviour, routine and health.

"By doing this we can really help identify the problem and help.”

The trust has also been involved in a national campaign with singer Cecil, who along with her management company, Stormcraft Music, have set up Project Ceasefire.

It has been set-up with the primary goal of keeping those affected by knife crime, gun crime and youth violence connected to each other.

Hollie’s tragic story is one of eight that the project uses to bring home the horror of knife crime.
