A busy road was closed in Cirencester earlier today as emergency services rushed to the scene of a crash.
The incident took place outside Whiddets, the old bakery in the centre of town.
A spokeswoman for Gloucestershire Police said: "Emergency services responded to a two vehicle collision involving a car and a bus on Gloucester Street, Cirencester shortly after 10am today (Monday).
"An elderly woman who was on the bus sustained injuries and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
"The occupants of the car, a woman and child, were physically unharmed.
"Police remain at the scene."
The road reopened at 1.15pm.
