A CHILDCARE centre in Pant has been showing Christmas is about giving after collecting food for less fortunate families.
The Pant Pandas Childcare Centre held a food collection for Oswestry Foodbank to help those in need over the festive period.
Families of the children attending the childcare centre were asked to donate suitable items.
A huge total of 61kg was collected, consisting of food and festive treats.
Manager at the centre, Jenny Grafton, said she was really pleased to see the generosity of the children and their families.
“We can’t thank the families of pandas enough,” she said. “They have been so generous, and we hope it will make a difference to some people’s Christmas.”
