WORK which has shut part of the A36 from the early evening is set to finish tomorrow.
Highways England teams have closed the busy road in both directions between West Wellow and Ower from the hours of 7pm to 6am since December 9.
The drainage works are scheduled to finish on December 20.
As reported, this closure has been in place from Slab Lane in Wellow – just north of the Lower Common Road/Canada Road roundabout and the Nisa Local – and run to the Ower roundabout.
A diversion route has been in place to send drivers onto the A27 and the A3090.
Motorists have also be affected by another closure on the A36 from the M27 to the Ower roundabout.
However, this has only been shut northbound, with the southbound lane still open.
This closure will also end on December 20.
