A severe weather warning is in place across the region tonight
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind.
A Severe Weather Emergency Protocol has been called by Stroud District Council with very strong winds expected across the region on Thursday.
The warning is in place from 3am tonight until 6pm tomorrow.
The council have urged anyone who knows someone who might be sleeping rough to contact them through the organisation Street Link by visiting https://www.streetlink.org.uk/ or calling 0300 500 0914.
