An Ebley coffee and wine bar is asking customers to ditch their muddy boots and wear some comfortable slippers instead before popping in to the popular venue.
Staff at Kitsch, which is based on Ebley Wharf, got so sick of customers walking into their premises with dirty footwear, they decided to offer an alternative.
They set up a small sign urging people to ditch their muddy boots at the entrance to the bar.
It says: "We love you but we don't love your muddy boots. Please leave them here and swap them for slippers."
Customers have already tried the slippers and Kitsch even have towels to wipe down wet dogs so they can keep the bar fresh at all times.
Kitsch is a popular coffee and wine bar offering a range of different products from smoothies to cocktails and they regularly stage special DJ nights for customers.
