The A46 was closed in both directions this morning after a tree fell on a car this morning.
A spokeswoman from Gloucestershire police said the driver of the car wasn't injured in the incident but the road was closed whilst the road was cleared.
The road has now been cleared and is reopen.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire County Council said: "We received a call at 7.46am from the police asking for the road to be closed because of a fallen tree.
"Crews removed the tree to make the carriageway safe to use.
"There is no damage to the road and an arboriculturist has been on site with the crew to check the safety of other trees."
