A FORMER Premier League manager has paid tribute to Forest Green chairman Dale Vince’s green philosophy.

Ian Holloway, who managed both Crystal Palace and Blackpool in the top-flight and is now in charge of Grimsby Town, championed Vince before his side’s 2-2 draw with Forest Green on Saturday.

Writing in the Grimsby Town programme, Holloway said: “I’m very proud of their owner Dale Vince and I have a lot of respect for him for sticking to his values…even building a new wooden stadium! I’d like to thank him on behalf of my grandchildren and future great grandchildren.”
