AN ELDERLY man has died following a collision with a lorry in Moreton-in-Marsh.
Police were called to a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian at around 1.40pm yesterday on the High Street.
The pedestrian, a man in his eighties from Mickleton, suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
His next of kin has been informed.
The lorry driver, a man in his forties from Kent, was not physically injured.
The High Street was closed for several hours to allow officers to conduct a full forensic investigation, and they would like to thank residents of Moreton-in-Marsh and motorists affected by this for their patience.
Police investigating the collision are appealing for witnesses to establish how it happened.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, and has not already spoken to police, or has dash-cam footage which would help with inquiries.
Anyone with information is asked to call Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101 quoting incident 206 of February 18.
