Now that our new Stroud MP and her government have been in office for over 2 months it's hard to know what they're doing in our name. Our MP has yet to establish a local office and the government seem to have decided that it is not necessary for them to explain their policies or actions on TV or radio. We the electorate are being kept in the dark.

As our MP knows what an engaged electorate she has in Stroud perhaps she could commit to holding a weekly public meeting in the Constituency where the public could hold her and the government to account over issues such as Climate Change Policy, the approach to immigration policy, the deterioration in NHS waiting lists, the funding of flood prevention policies to name just a few of the current hot topics. Surely we shouldn't have to wait until the next election to hear from Ms Baillie ?
