STROUD residents living on higher ground awoke to a carpet of snow this morning.
This follows a Met Office weather warning for snow across the region, which runs until midday today.
A yellow warning is in place, with sleet and snow expected to cause some travel disruption.
Forecasters say some roads and railways are likely to be affected, with longer journey times by road, bus and train services
SNJ photographer Simon Pizzey took these photos on Edge Road, Whiteshill, Stroud this morning.
