Supplies are 'very low' at Thornbury Foodbank amid the coronavirus crisis.
Volunteers from the charity facility ran at Thornbury Baptist Church are appealing for donations.
Anyone wishing to help can leave food in the crate behind the tills at Tesco. This should only be done when already shopping for basic necessities as per the latest government guidelines.
The most wanted items are:
Coffee
Custard
Sponge puddings
Jelly, Angel Delight
Long life orange juice
Tinned meat
Toilet rolls
Tampons
Feminine pads
Razors
Washing powder/capsules
Cat/dog food
Tinned anything!
Shampoo
Shower gel
Washing up liquid
Cereals
Tea
The foodbank does not need soup, beans or pasta.
