A MAN is due to appear in court today on a series of charges relating to incidents in Stroud and Cirencester on Monday.
Police resources, including officers, dogs and helicopter, were deployed following reports of assault and stolen vehicles in the two towns.
Jack Calladine, 22 and of no fixed abode, was arrested in Cirencester and has been charged with robbery, burglary, affray, criminal damage and two counts of taking a vehicle without consent.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court by live link.
