DOMINO'S in Stroud delivered 14 large pizzas free to Stroud General Hospital yesterday for all the staff to enjoy.
Paddy Stroud, whose daughter is a nurse and was working at the hospital when the delivery came in, posted on Facebook: "Well done to them.
"The whole staff were very grateful.
"Our daughter who is a staff nurse and was on shift was very happy."
Paddy also added that last night's "Clap for Carers" tribute, saluting NHS and care workers dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, meant a lot to his daughter too.
Thousands of people across the country joined in the round of applause last night at 8pm.
Paddy and his family stood in their garden in Nailsworth to take part.
"You could hear it all over the valleys," he said.
"My daughter was very emotional about it, being a staff nurse herself."
