A WOMAN who stole more than £8,000 from a supermarket has avoided jail.
Kayleigh Hawley, 33, of Elm Grove, Ebrington, pleaded guilty to the thefts when she appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court on March 10.
Magistrates heard how Hawley stole from Aldi supermarket in Moreton-in-Marsh on two occasions, stealing £3,340 on June 18, 2018, and a further £5,000 on September 3, 2018.
Hawley was sentenced to 32 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months.
She was also ordered to pay costs of £207.
